Jeanna Sybert was highly commended in the top 10% submission to Social Sciences: Anthropology & Cultural Studies

Please join us in congratulating and supporting, Jeanna Sybert, as a senior in Communication and Political Science with a Film minor has submitted her work, Western Conceptualizations of Childhood and the Image of Omran Daqneesh, to the Undergraduate Awards Programme in Social Sciences: Anthropology& Cultural Studies. Her work was identified as among the best undergraduate course work globally. This year, they received 6,432 submissions from students in 299 Institutions across 47 countries with the winner to be announced on Sept. 19th. Her impressive vitae continues, as President of Lambda Pi Eta this year, the Communication honors association. In addition, She is in Pitt Democrats and a board member for She's the First and the American Association of University Women. Additionally, she is a coach this year at the Oral Comm Lab. She plans to preparing applications for graduate school in Communication, particular Rhetorical Studies.
