“Fear and the First Amendment”

Fear is a persistent theme in the history of the First Amendment. At the most basic level, the early advocates of the Bill of Rights feared government intrusion in the lives of its citizens. In this lecture and conversation, Dr. Johnson speaks about the role of fear in many of the contemporary controversial cases that have been decided by the Roberts Court. Please join us in interesting  thought and conversation about the role of fear in Supreme Court cases concerning the First Amendment.
