Biography
Max is a PhD candidate who earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Wake Forest University. His dissertation research asks: What is the relationship between the affective attachments fans have to speculative fiction media and the logic of violence/exclusion? Max is co-founder and editor of the speculative fiction literary magazine Flash Point SF.
